Begonia aketajawensis ‘splotched’

Listing is for 20+ fresh Begonia aketajawensis seeds. This species hails from Halmahera in the Maluku Islands, where it was discovered in the Aketajawe-Lolobata National Park. Ours is the splotched form, with darker splotches on a silver-green leaf, in contrast to the dark form which is almost solid black. Recommended humidity 80%+. Germination time is approximately 1 month.

All of our seeds are hand-pollinated by us in Quebec, Canada to ensure pure, true-to-species stock. Germination rates are retested every few months.
