All of our seeds are hand-pollinated by us in Quebec, Canada to ensure pure, true-to-species stock. Germination rates are retested every few months.

Begonia boliviensis hails from the cliffs and cloud forests of the Andes, where it grows tucked into rocky crevices. It's a tuberous species with a cascading habit. The flowers are unmistakable: slender, fiery orange-red, with narrow, pointed petals. Set against lance-shaped, lightly serrated green leaves, it blooms generously from early summer until the first frosts. This is the wild species behind many beloved trailing begonia hybrids, and it carries an untamed elegance all its own.

Perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, and raised containers, B. boliviensis enjoys bright, indirect light. Lift and store the tubers over winter in cold climates, or grow it as a tender annual. 20+ fresh seeds.
