Begonia lugonis

20+ Begonia lugonis seeds. This is a stunning iridescent species from Ecuador (blotched variety). Pearlescent neon patterns adorn a leaf which appears deep, velvety purple-black under diffused light, and shimmers with shades of turquoise, blue and green with a flash or under appropriate lighting. Terrarium plant, humidity above 75% is recommended.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: the seeds of this species take significantly longer than average to germinate, starting around the 9th week.

All of our seeds are hand-pollinated by us in Quebec, Canada to ensure pure, true-to-species stock. Germination rates are retested every few months.
