Begonia chlorosticta

One of the most striking species begonias in cultivation. A compact, semi-erect grower from Sarawak, Borneo, with narrow, pointed leaves in deep maroon, scattered with rows of bright chartreuse spots. The undersides are a rich oxblood red, and the contrast under good light is remarkable. A true terrarium plant that demands high humidity (80%+). Germination time approximately 3 weeks.
