SEEDS Begonia sp. “Ferny”

Listing is for 25+ Begonia sp. “Ferny” seeds. This stunning begonia is possibly the bluest-leaved wild begonia in horticulture today (photos taken without flash). The crimson, hairy stems stand out in stark contrast. Always more impressive when viewed live as the colours are a challenge to capture un photographs. Intensity is most pronounced early in the day, and fades to a deep forest green in the evening, only to return the next! An eye-catching centrepiece in any terrarium. Seeds of this species are rarely available.

Terrarium species, recommended humidity 90%+. 

All of our seeds are hand-pollinated by us, in Canada. Seeds are retested periodically to check  germination rates. This species takes 5+ weeks to germinate.
